As Poilievre stands to be vetted in January, he’s made a mistake that has cost him a lot of support within his caucus- at least the easterners. As the Conservative Party moves further and further right, the party becomes divided on the viability of this strategy. Do they keep moving in the MAGA direction, or do they head back towards a more moderate, economic conservatism ? meanwhile, Quebec is suppressing any dissent within its fracturing medical system, as the doctors push back against the CAQ’s unwillingness to negotiate. Another desperate move from a desperate government.Finally, what’s up with these new tariffs? And do they even matter? Why doesn’t the government do something interesting about this, and nationalize industries that are refusing to stay in Canada? At one point, liberals were stronger and had a backbone. Now?
