Is kerkasiel in Kampen gerechtvaardigd? (29 januari 2025)

Asielminister Faber moet niets hebben van het kerkasiel in Kampen, waarmee een gezin uit Oezbekistan uitzetting probeert te voorkomen. Dat zegt ze in het Nederlands Dagblad. Sinds november vorig jaar is daar 24 uur per dag een kerkdienst bezig, zodat de overheid of politie niet mag ingrijpen en het gezin dus in Nederland kan blijven. Wordt hier de kerkdienst misbruikt voor politiek gewin of is dit juist typisch een daad van barmhartigheid die bij de kerk past?
