The 20-year-old phenom made sure the first contest against the Spurs sans-Nowitzki since 1999 didn’t lack for star power in the Mavericks’ 117-110 win. Doncic scored a career-high 42 points, added 11 rebounds and 12 assists, and became the second player in NBA history to record a 40-point triple-double before turning 21, joining LeBron James.
