Is Migraine Surgery a Cure for Chronic Migraines?

Millions of Americans suffer form debilitating chronic migraines. Medication is not always effective or ideal due to side effects. Dr. Bahman Guyuron noticed patients reporting their migraines going away post-op of an unrelated procedure. Migraine surgery is performed as an outpatient procedure for most patients. Small incisions are made to remove muscle or fat tissue and possibly remove or adjust the nerve at the migraine trigger site.
