Over the past few years, Nashville has slowly caught up with Austin as a go-to U.S. destination. Like Austin, the city has flourished despite being in a deeply conservative state. A slew of anti-LGBTQ bills from Tennessee legislators though may get in the way of the city's booming economic scene.
