Is New Apostolic Governance a Myth?
from The Lovesick Scribe Podcast · host Dawn Hill
If you have ever heard of the New Apostolic Reformation, you might have heard the name C. Peter Wagner. He is credited for coining this term and he believed that a second apostolic age began in 2001. One of the fundamental beliefs surrounding this movement is the restoration of the office of the Apostle and with that, governing authority. However, as of late, there are individuals who deny this movement exists, claiming it is a conspiracy theory on par with the Illuminati. Those who acknowledge it are called hypercritics, jealous, and embittered because they simply do not have the power of the Holy Spirit demonstrated in their personal lives. But what if there is solid evidence this movement exists? What if we could follow a literal paper trail identifying this movement by name even today with the teaching of governing apostolic authority in the church from those who actually hold to this belief? Join me as we take an in depth look at the NAR/New apostolic movement and the restoration of governing Apostles today. How do I know if my Church is NAR: With Holly Pivec & Douglas Geivett: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o3Cf_7q2014&t=1482s Website: http://www.lovesicksribe.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/lovesickscribe/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/lovesickscribeblog If you found this podcast helpful, please share it with others and consider leaving a good review.
