President Biden issued a proclamation when he took office promising that "no more American taxpayer dollars be diverted to construct a border wall.” Now, with a crisis at the border, President Biden is looking to start wall construction again. Why? According to Biden administration officials, the wall is not deviating from the proclamation because the money allocated under Trump must be spent now.
