Is Salvation Secure? (“Hey Jude” Week 2)

Today’s topic has caused considerable disagreement in conservative Bible-believing churches, and essentially the church remains divided on the issue. The debate is whether or not your salvation can be lost. Are you “once saved, always saved?” Or are you able to become saved, yet later in life denounce your salvation and lose it? It would seem that by turning to scripture we could determine what God really says and end the debate.  The irony, in this case, is that diligent study by prominent theologians throughout the ages has found enough verses in scripture to support EITHER view!
