Is security now a slur?

from E Pluribus Unum · host Loren Moss

We’re constantly told that “national security” means safety. That it means protection. That it’s about keeping Americans secure. But when you actually look at what these policies are doing, it paints a different picture. The Trump administration’s immigration crackdown isn’t about stopping crime or terrorism. Today I look at the data, the history, and the logic behind these decisions, and show how “extreme vetting” has become a cover for discrimination, government overreach, and political manipulation.
