Is social media making our students dumb?

The Dean’s List with Host Dean Bowen – Just 80 minutes a day of social media consumption is proving to be detrimental to the cognitive abilities of pre-teens. The researchers further noted that the “analysis found that both low and high increases in social media use throughout early adolescence were significantly associated with lower performance in specific aspects of cognitive function.”
