Yeah. Show to you. Show to you. Show to you.
I got to go from the show to the day. I just skipped it in right. And show did he made a ride and they're like, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo. Let's say, what's happening?
What's happening? But yeah, we got the game on right now. There's no Nick, there's no FIFA tonight, but you got us, we here. And is he hot?
Nope. But yeah, so right now, the nicks are in a battle with the Heat without Jimmy Butler, which is crazy. Without Jimmy Butler, with Tyler Hero, without all of these, is that the next man in battle, is that he or that he good? It's the same as last night, the same thing with Boston.
You underestimate, you play down, you're not playing, you at home, you have no reason. You at the crib, you got Julius Randal back. There's no reason for this to be happening, other than the fact that you're not focusing, you're playing down to level up your competition. I can't believe you, that's crazy.
I can't believe that Jimmy Butler didn't play. He must have really been hurt. Well, they shouldn't have, they must have been my fault. I can't find my fault.
They shouldn't have lost their last game. They were up by double digits. So it actually made no sense. So I mean, I'm looking at the Knicks different, because I was like, oh, yeah, the Knicks, first of all, the Knicks shouldn't have beat the Cavs.
So we really need to talk about not the Mitchell, and you know, there. But so it shouldn't have beat the Cavs. So that's a whole other conversation. But for a second, I was like, especially when they were up at half, even though he started to make a run, they still had like a eight, 10 point lead or whatever.
And I'm like, yo, man, like, damn, the Knicks, my ass would be good. That is the thought went through my head. But I was like, man, all the Knicks really good. Bronson was killing it, he was getting to the pain, doing what they done, they were shutting all that shit down tonight.
And I was like, man, they might be good. Man, they should go out and take out the heat. And look at this mess. So yeah, a lot of developments happened over the course of the time that we've been gone.
We had the NFL draft, which Thursday. So we'll get your guys thoughts on that. We actually did a, I guess, I would draft, a dentist for draft coverage, something. Is that what it was?
It was. Annual draft coverage. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I thought about that afterwards, the day afterwards, I was like, man, yeah, we like, like jump through for the Cowboys pick a little bit of head.
Stayed off a little bit after then he was gone. Manny came through a little bit for the Jets pick and stuff like that. Appreciate your raw, appreciate you. Raw.
Cam and, yeah, press the, yeah, press the was on there too. Yeah, the members came through and just hung with us, man. Huh, with us for the rest of the night. That's a fun time, Manny.
It was confusing. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So it was good. So before we get into the basketball stuff, I guess we do need to kind of go over, I guess winners and losers of the draft.
By now, all of the rounds are done. And now I guess, what's next? Training count is made June July. I don't know when to go back.
Yeah, Levis winning the second round to Tennessee. And a lot of other people got picked. Wait, you love that pick? Anyway, yeah, I love the rest of the draft.
I don't love him getting out of the first round. So do you think they'll be good for the site? Can't be much worse, put it that way. And I think if he's smart and he takes that personal and plays well, then he will be OK.
Yeah. Stop, bro. Now you shooting him the same bill. I know, I know people that shooting him when they thought he was going to be a first round.
Will Levis is not good. Correct. Like we know that he's not good. That's the reason he's sitting in that green room.
And Tennessee did this with Jake Lock. You're right. You're right. They do this.
They got a history of this. I'm from Tennessee. This is the reason I don't root for them. Like it's bull.
You're right. I do. Oh, you're right. Because you're right.
Because I don't know how I talk about him. I don't know why he thought he would be good. Like this is a bad pick. Like they I would have let him sit there for a lot longer.
But I was too. Because look, we just took Malik Willis last year. Yeah, but they don't I mean, they don't believe in that. They don't believe in that.
He got fired. So yeah, he did that. That didn't work out there for and I hate it too. Because I want him to make will is to be real good.
I was talking about it. Yeah, I talked about it all. I was like, that was like, that was like, that was like, one. He didn't even get a chance.
He did nothing with it. He did. Yeah, but I don't think it was a good pick by Tennessee at all. You know, taking will.
I was looking over the grades here. The lowest grade that I seen was the C. And it was by the Lions. A lot of people, man, because they took that running back that route.
Yeah, it was it was it was absolutely the worst draft was well, it could turn out to be better than we think because it did. You got to be really good. Yeah, but and I like them. Don't get me wrong.
I don't know if you remember early in the year I can talk about how I want him to go to the Eagles. That was the player I tagged and wanted. I wanted to get because I love watching him play. But once again, whether Detroit Lions, some people rated their draft in F and I get it because they reached on their top two draft picks.
They could have got him in the second round and he would have been available later. No way he was the first round. Let alone a number 12 pick to a position. You already just signed Dave Montgomery a couple days ago to be your lead back.
You already had Swift there who does basically about the same thing. Even though Swift is not always healthy. You didn't need it back at that point. You needed to put some pieces in place for other players that would have helped you out along the way.
Yeah, they took Jamari Gibbs at 12. 12th. And the thing about when they talk about ownership and good franchises, the Lions were drafting like they were the head of NFC East, excuse me, the NFC North and they've been there for a long time. This year being good, bro.
But they went and took a reach with Gibbs. They took a reach with Jack Campbell. Like you said, those players may have been good later on. But let's maximize our draft capital when we're finally good and try to continue to be good.
I think they were drafting like they played with House Money. Like we the Lions and we good and like this is not the case. Yeah, they were drafting like they were playing a video game because Jack Campbell had a third round projection. No, no one was jumping.
And I get that that's Dan Campbell's type of player and what he wants on his team, but still nobody was jumping up again. Like if you were smart, if you were a smart football team, like we credit the ones who stay at the top and have consistently good rosters, you'll just try to back and got Campbell what you want. But what if the guy, okay, I'll trade it back and get him what you want to get him. I just, I feel like the Lions have listened to us.
Let's go to what and they've listened to it too much and they just think, oh, we can do what we want. Like you still got the Packers and the Bears here division who've consistently been better than you for 20 years. Right. So act like, no, you know, you're trading up to get Levis was kind of wild, but, but I guess like you don't think the value is good for him.
I mean, you avoided him in the first round. He failed you in the second. Like you, the Tennessee Titans could have picked him. Yeah, the first round and they didn't and he came right back to them because I think they kind of wanted to, but they think they feel, you know, he was just too high.
I'm trying to see. I'm scrolling down to see what they got first. I forgot what the tackle was some. I knew they would pick it to attack and that was shocking to me because I really thought they would take a lot of their, I really did.
I thought that levels would be going like once again, we know how they do these white quarterback. They hype them up so big like they did all these other guys and I'm thinking, no, this dude ain't gonna be that in Zach Wilson showed us. We talked about that. We talked about that was in a draft like they're crazy for draft is that and we see it to be true.
So they listen this year, this year they was like, no, that's a good price. Probably a good reason why we'll let it sit back that's so long because it's a problem because like I said, in Sam Donald same thing with Sam Donald these guys were deer in the head and what was the other guy he played UCLA Rosen. Same thing. Like they play college ball.
They were prototypical quarterbacks that did not perform on that level and get their say and they're gonna come to the pros because they're that guy and they can we can coach them up and make them this. That was the misconception. I was like, no, I mean these dudes are deer in the head like when they pressure comes, they fold. I seen it.
I saw it was that. I said the same thing that happened. I don't want to say it. I pretend like it's just me.
But I knew it was gonna fold. Same thing with this guy. You see pressure, he folds. It's scary.
It's scary to think that you just can't develop him. Like when I was talking about if I was him, I would take it as a blessing that you went to the team that can use you. You really got to deal with much in Tannehill. They really try to get him right.
I think they said this would be his last year. I think if I got the team correct, they own after this year, the two years, he's old. He can cut him in a while. I've heard that the guy from Arthur Smith, he had Tannehill in Tennessee.
He was the office coordinator. And he took these on Robinson because Tannehill may be available and they can recreate with Derrick Henry and Drake and what's the... Copy it. Copy it.
They can recreate that type of offense in Atlanta. They try to get Tannehill, which will put Lebitz on the field. Early. If he's good, he'll play.
I was gonna say, and Malik will still is there. I don't know what that plans on Malik is. He didn't age back or something. Yeah, he did not look good.
Hopefully, hopefully it's just once again, somebody's got it. It takes him... I wish he had time to go somewhere in the field. Yeah.
You know what I think about what him and he's a little worse. I think about Trey Lance, you coming from, you know, not from a major, you come from a mid-major, smaller school, and you're going out here trying to play at this level. You're going from here to here overnight. That's a big jump.
And that's scary to some people. You gotta get yourself mentally prepared for that. And some people are not. So hopefully, he can pick it up and learn some things over the summer and grow from this.
And what he only does make a good point, if nobody called for that pick, you can't trade back. So yeah, so I don't know. So we'll see how these guys go. Because the thing about the NFL draft and all the drafts, honestly, I don't know about baseball or hockey like that.
You always cite it about the guys you have. And you just think they're just going to make your whole team better. And they're only about 10 of them from like, correct. Yeah, it's always so much promising that these guys get out there, man.
They can't do shit. That's the one thing. That's why, you know, in FIFA, Nick talk about all the time, like traffic straight, straight, I'm like, man, it's ain't man, bro. You can have all the draft picks in the world, but doesn't guarantee you the best roster.
It's the moves you make when you get them. Who's your best draft? I don't want to say it. Shut up.
You say it for me. I don't even know. I don't even know. It's the end of the spike, go ahead.
To sit there and be able to watch the Eagles draft the way they draft it, man, and add on to the team that they already had, the only bright side of it is Jalen Herch and Goode. Like I've been saying this, it's the end of the effort. So hopefully it won't matter that the team is that stacked. Oh, man.
I know you would. He's good enough. Yeah, he's good enough. He's good enough.
I love those moves because they had to retool. They had certain pieces and needs that they had to feel. The defensive lineman and getting a little long in the two. And you brought in a couple from a championship team.
Like it's Georgia Bulldog. Yeah. I saw what they were talking about, our linebacker, Neil. Anyway, the linebacker that we brought in from Georgia last year was the leader of that defense.
Now he has four teammates from that defense out there with him now. And he was like the leader that kept Jalen Carter in line and in saying that that's going to help him a lot because he's around guys he's familiar with. These guys, him and Jordan Davis, they've been through a year in the league. They have more season.
They can kind of help him grow and develop. And he's that player. All you got to do is go out there and play now. It's comfortable.
And they're going to make it as comfortable as possible. So the Eagles had a really, really, really, really good draft. They brought in Mingo, the corner back from Georgia who they say he's off the charts as far as their athleticism and promise. He just had a few issues as far as technique.
But they said it's not much. They drafted really, really well. They even got offensive lineman, late, play guard, fill in that spot. So they did everything that they needed to do in the draft to get stronger.
Yeah. It'll be interesting seeing this experiment unintentional play out of drafting. All these guys are being able to draft all these guys from a championship team or a really good program on your team that know each other. And how that manifests itself in the NFL.
Because now everybody like they, we can pay by the way in college, but not even pay for real, real legal. So how does this work? Because for them, it's almost like, man, we packing college again. You got three years, Jaylen probably got three years to play with Jordan Davis.
And they can hold each other accountable to be like, hey, man, we just got to keep doing what we're doing back and forth. The talent level is closer to you. But there will be some guys on the other side of the field that are either old or declining that you can take, that you're just better than. So I'll be interested to see how they go.
I do like what the Texans did though. Yeah, that was my other team. I was going to save us a time. Good.
Good. Good. Good. I would take the Eagles over the Texans, but they were very, very aggressive to go and get a drought.
And Will Anderson, who a lot of people were saying was the best player in the hole in a drought was between him and Carter. So these guys would come back and make immediate impact. At least Will Anderson can. Right.
We still got to see if CJ Schrodinger played. We still got, you know, I think Bryce Young will be fine, but, and I think CJ Schrodinger will be fine too. We still got to see if these guys will be able to play though. So yeah, so, so yeah, I don't know, man, but it was, it was fun.
It was interesting. And you know, we'll see what happens when this young talent, you know, in the field, I think what if I can reflect back on the last couple of years, a lot of these guys coming in in the field from the draft are able to damn their plate right away. They are. They are.
These guys are coming in much more NFL ready than they've ever been before. Used to be a learning curve for a lot of players now. That curve is getting small. We talked about the quarterback.
I was surprised in draft pit. You know, I was surprised in Atlanta got robbed. I feel like that's one of the bigger pickings of draft if, if Nick's a boy at the quarterback ritter, if he's any good at all with those options that he have in the Arkansas, what he did in Tennessee, I feel like Atlanta in a week division, they can make a noise, but that depends on if it is good at all, what they get teddy hill or something like this. I think Atlanta had a strong draft.
And of course, like you said, it equals before I left out. Yeah. My cowboys, it was decent. I don't know.
I'm not sure how good that defensive top was. Yeah. He had slashes in Michigan after we were on the live and looked at it. I did a little research and seeing what people were saying.
He may be able to be dominant. If he's able to rush the passer, it looks like he's a solid run guy. I mean, we need that. But if he can rush the passer, be a difference maker with my car parsers, I am at that.
I am at our overall draft at all either. And that's what comes up. My favorite draft that player was Deuce Vaughn, Vaughn from Kansas State. He was already a favorite man.
Yeah. But his dad being able to make that call to him, his dad's emotion. Being a proud father and seeing your son being drafted anyway is crazy. But to be able to say, I want you want to come and work with me tomorrow?
That's like the shit on Jerry Jones. That was a nice move. That was dope, man. I ain't saying it's saving grace.
But that was a good move. But I also don't know the dude that worked for the Cowboys, Vaughn's dad. He had been working for them for years. And he got to call this on and tell them, hey, we're drafting you for the Cowboys.
Vaughn is like a little short like five. He's another, he's a there in sprulls. But in Boston, Scott from Philly, he's a really good ball player though. That boy can win that ball.
I like to. Yeah. And I'm 100% sure he will. He's one of my picks in college.
I like watching him play ball. And I think he's going to be impressive. I think that he can step in there and carve out a nice little role with Dallas. Did I miss out?
I'll talk about young and. No. What's my name? I was like, see, what do you think about it?
Did it fall out like you thought it was? It did in the end. But you know what I was thinking. Once again, I came in thinking the worst.
I was very negative in my mindset because I really thought that one of these seems to go to do what they always do. I did. I really did. I was like, man, I'm not.
We live as people must got a lot of money. I think they just put a lot of marketing behind this. What's the matter? What happens every year?
That's what I'm saying. So every year there's a great white hike. I thought it was the same thing. That noise started to rumble and starts happening and then it just starts going.
This year went against the grain. If I had to make an outrageous take from the draft, what I would say is that Houston can win the AFC Souths. AFC South. Shrall can be good.
Anderson can be a difference maker. They got the running. Jacksonville can fall off because like Nick Sage, I mean, do we really believe in Trev Lawrence yet? If Shrall is anywhere near as good as they say that he's going to be, I mean, individual out of him?
No. That's what I was. I do like what Houston did too. I think it was gutsy.
But I do like that the Marco Ryan's came and he was like, you know what, I want to set the phone. I want this dude. Yeah. Because everybody wanted to take a quarterback.
He was like, cool, I'm going to take a quarterback. Let me get my dude too. And I like that. I think Anderson's that type of player.
He's worth doing. All of it. He did it. He's worth it.
Right. And that's what I was thinking. Like Will Anderson and Carter are number one picks. One in one eight.
And for those teams to get those guys after your first pick, it meant a lot. And these guys are day one starters. They won. Just put me what I need to play coach.
Right. And they're going to be difference makers on the field immediate. I think Will Anderson is going to show you a lot of what we saw from my comparisons. I can see that.
He's just roughing his feet. And he'll help the other side too. Whoever the other D is going to be is going to have a field there because they're going to be doubling this way. Once they get used to what he can do, yeah, later season I can see that too.
What a nice replacement for JJ White which they had made up of the place since he left. True. So that that'll and they try. I think I was a big move I used to and I like that for Ryan's moving taking the picks to what I need to do.
I've been established myself. I like Baltimore's draft pick to flowers getting flowers getting more help in for watching. I don't know how good flowers is. I don't even know how good flowers is.
He's a good bar player. And if you keep Bateman happy and keep OBJ on the field, I think that's a nice little set up that he got right there. And you can get these running backs healthy. That's another thing.
They got some good backs. I love those guys that they have. I'm not sure of all of them are back still. But I love what they said was to do.
Of course, we like Dobbins if Dobbins can stay healthy. He'd be one of the premier backs in his league. And that team is pretty much set. You know, you got Andrews.
If he's Andrew still there? Which one of our partners? Yeah. I think so.
So if you got Mark Andrews, you got your offensive tag. What about the Rams with the sneaky pick of Stetson Bennett? Stetson Bennett, bro. Stetson Bennett?
He's a lucky man. He's a lucky man. He's a lucky man. He's a lucky man.
Because he can go. He's quoting, quote, genius. Maybe he get better than ever man and they can do something. Right.
I mean, he's a lucky guy. I don't think he's got a minute. He's lucky because he gets to go to a place where he gets to learn behind another Georgia bulldog and you know. And a coach.
Yeah. And a coach. And you get to rest and learn the game, you know, and solidify a backup role. That's what he really needed.
And we'll see how that goes. But I don't think he should be on the field. I don't think he'll make a deal. No.
He'll go surprise nobody. No. And for what? You know, some of those surprises to me, I think for like the 7th of the, I can't remember y'all correct me from.
Oh, the Kobe Dean, thank y'all. That's what I was saying anyway. It's a business. Yeah.
This is 7th of the 80 year that the SEC has led the draft as far as picks. And they had, from the SEC along, they had more draft picks than some whole conferences did. And it was easy. The SEC is the pipeline to know that fail.
Yeah, we know. Absolutely. That's crazy to say. Like, that's crazy.
Another sleeper pickup I like was, my boy, Thompson Robinson from UCLA going to the Browns. A lot of people sleep on him, man. I really like the way he plays football. I just do.
And I would have liked it if he had went somewhere where he could play. He could play there. If something happens to the Shawn, he could on a field. Similar situation.
In some, you know, he don't need to play right away. He's one of the ones that does need to come in and probably get a little bit of reps behind somebody. Don't do the things off the field that everybody else does. But on the field, you know, he needs somebody like that in front of him.
I mean, I guess I wouldn't, if I were a Browns fan, I wouldn't be happy about that. Because the last thing I want to see is him on the field if I'm paying the shot, watching. To be fair around us. So when I say somewhere that he could play, I mean somewhere where he got the opportunity maybe to overtake the starter.
I would have liked to see that. Because like you said, he is talented. He's a talented dude. Like New Orleans or something like that, Tampa Bay.
Someone went in Minnesota. What do you think of your boy from Tennessee? Like where he went? Hooker.
Yeah. He went to study behind the yard guard. The best thing he'll take care of the other. He'll take it.
He can. He can. And even if he doesn't take it this year, he can prove enough to wear. You can let Jared Garth walk.
And you can put him slide him. It's a plug and play. I think Hennen Hooker, you used to talk about Hennen Hooker a lot too. He's a really, really talented dude.
The only real knocks on him was the fact that he tore his ACL. And the time he did. And the fact that he's 25 years old. Other than that, man, he was the most dominant player in college football for three-fourths of the season.
Nobody came close. Nobody came close. Even out performed right in the matchup here to here. So you can't say no more than that.
This guy was the third. That's true. And that's what it is with me. That's something I never really, if you can do it on the field, what makes them say, well, this guy is going to be better than you at the next level.
He could do it on the same ground as you. It's some traits, man. They get them in the rooms. They say in shit that some people train to say and some people just don't know what to say.
And they fool them. Just like, well, yeah, man, man, say, man, say, man, say, man, say, man, say, man, I love money to what I'm going to learn, what exactly these motherfuckers want to hear. And they're going to drive me. They were going to hang out just like that.
They were going to hate it. They were going to hate it. They were going to hate it. Don't ask me none of this stuff you're talking about.
Watch the tape. And then you'll see what I can do. I'm not coming out. I'm not doing nothing.
Watch my tape. Put the tape on. It shows you my game. You see me.
Why do I need to run a 40? When you see me run around the field, these do chase me. They can't catch me here. But I get it.
I get it. We have to draft our potential. It's your job as a scout to be able to push it ahead. But the draft was a good draft.
I think we got some players in this draft. And it should be a good season. If I'm excited to see. Even what Eagles are going to do because you lost both coordinators.
And that works trying to get these new guys acclimated with new coordinators. We'll see how it goes. I can't wait. 93 all that was looking bad for the Knicks.
And it's still a bad for the Knicks. If you ask me, they got to look great. Or he did some dumb shit. I keep checking my head every time I see Gabe Vincent or some of these Caleb Martin and all the other other guys.
You know, it's just like. Like how is Gabe Vincent in the Eastern Conference semifinals effective? Right. And we're going to get to the main topic, the lead topic.
But this is what I mean when I say y'all in Jimmy Butler do this to y'all. First of all, you and Sheldon last week though. I know I was okay. Sheldon, you made it to me and Nick was sitting here saying Jimmy Butler is going to do it to him.
Not about him. But we said Jimmy Butler is going to do it to him and y'all like I ain't no way in the hail. Yeah. I did.
I was going to let Jimmy do that to y'all. And that goes to the Greek press conference that I'm sure we're talking about. Yeah. I was thinking like I said my whole way up thinking was these are the ones again the other guys going to have to step up and help him and they were not.
And that's why I was a Milwaukee. No from Miami. I thought Jimmy's going to be by himself. I don't need him.
He didn't need him. Jimmy didn't need him. He needed him in the game. They came back.
Caleb Martin and all the other guys. Yeah. Blake points. The back breaker was Jimmy Butler catching the oop falling down on his ass.
Still hitting the two points. They doing the same shit tonight bro. Yeah. And Jimmy Butler not there.
Okay. So how much blame do you give the Greek for that thing? All of it now. Every drop.
So when he stood up and say it's not a fail he's lying. Oh my God. He's there. I forgot about that.
Yeah. Let's get into it. Absolutely. Everybody praising that shit.
He's been taking out and shocked. I'm not saying people that I think we did before and Nicky I think they disagree with us because all of us on the same phase. No. Yeah.
I don't many did. But they're the same people that say everybody needs a medal. No they're trying to lump in calling him a failure with failing and that's not the same thing and I don't understand how we just sped past that. Right.
Like he's talking to the dude like did Michael Jordan like nobody asked you that bro. Like because I don't get a promotion at my job it doesn't mean that I'm a failure. But you are the number one C. Y'all won 58 games.
Right. Y'all lost to the eight C and five games. This is absolutely a failure. And you should be able to get up there and say that and not feel like you're taking offense and thinking that you haven't made it as a player.
You don't take nothing away from you being a Greek freak. You don't take nothing away from what you guys have accomplished in your career. But this year when the 58 games have been a number one C it's absolutely a failure. 100% and there's no other way to put it.
If you're a competitor which I always thought he was I thought he was a great competitor. I would be like yeah we failed. And then nothing wrong with that. That's my problem.
Like you said the people that were praising and I just didn't understand how you can see this and be like yes that's right you're absolutely right. It makes no sense to me. Yeah. I didn't get it man.
It really bothered me. Like you're the number one C you're two time MVP. We haven't allowed room for other players to get away with something like this. So because Giannis is nice and you know from whatever.
Because they sell us his back story. Some fake watches and he wasn't supposed to be here. And that's fine. It doesn't take away from his journey that he lost to the heat in the first round in five games.
You're still a successful NBA player. But this season for the Bucks you failed. It's cool. You can come back next season and you'll still be the same dude but you still failed last year.
I didn't understand how people didn't get there. Yeah. No, I may say not. You can be like yeah we didn't accomplish what we wanted to accomplish winning a title.
Right. So yeah. Our goal every time we saw him on the court is going to tie up. I was hurt.
We didn't get a chance to compete and play at our peak level because of that. So we felt that our mission to win a title. You know but other outside of that the season was over all success. We were good.
Right. We won 58 games for the best team of the East. I like what we did in the regular season. I was in MVP contention.
All of that is fine but still we didn't do what we wanted to do. Yes we failed. Yep. And I'm coming back strong.
Yeah. We were all in. No ones said that the guy Eric didn't ask him that. He didn't say hey I just do you feel like a failure in your life.
Specifically that happened. Yeah so I mean I'm going to give him one more year maybe but I don't. You may need to make any moves. I like heart state boy.
You do? Yes who? At heart and steam. I've been thinking maybe even taking them out of the game.
Man he got like nine rebounds. Care bro. He's lumbering. I mean he got a three points but he got nine rebounds.
Like every loose ball he's getting this position. Wipe away 55. Yeah. This position.
Shotted him hard. Oh, he got five. Look at that. He saw that.
Okay. He's done it again. This this possession alone He is got what four five rebounds? No, that's only I'm just talking about this one game.
He's one game He's gonna become a folk. He really knew you up. Yeah, he's active on the boards. He's getting his hands on balls I'm what told what's holding that on the bench.
He hit himself upside of here He was having a bad first half he's kept shooting that down three. Yeah, he's over two over two for three. Yeah, see nobody wants Oh, be talking to me. I told Nick.
He was his young core is awful. Look at that. You saw hard stitches now again Did you see him keep that ball alive? Make a shot.
This is why june is round though ain't worth the price of admission. He got them six Now that's hard. He gave them six shots at the basket and all of them with him. They better not they lose us They can't swear.
I cannot lose this game. They're not winning in Miami. Not at all and I wouldn't let Jimmy play no way tonight You know I regard as a risk we won we won the one that we needed to win our J bear pass Our J bear is worth it. I keep telling you, you know people people look at his points That's not it.
This is the thing about basketball that people got to understand when you have the ball in your hands It's one thing to say I'm gonna be a threat, but you gotta be a multi threat. You just can't be like I'm going to the Basketball go shoot when you got the ball. Yeah, you're gonna pass are you gonna create boys? Yeah, right?
The only time that's the one good thing about Julie's round little passes to the open man at least a little bit a little bit But he ain't looking nobody only time the only time What is name I can't remember that's a focus out. Yeah, I'm probably gonna close out good screen. Yeah You better you got to I Did look bad and look like You know just dribble penetration but Bear is not look the passing unless he's in a bad spot then he'll pass it out and it's too late You've given up the open man at that point somebody done picking roll for you you wide open and you looking to get to the basket And score and he ain't gonna shoot it like that. You're not that guy.
You're not that guy who bear Yeah, he's not that guy and that's who he wants to be in his brain. He's me I mean he's he's a middle-ro to guard But you know he ain't gonna be no damn Star like that. He's been in the lead long enough to have shown something because he plays in New York You're gonna continue to get a boost nobody talks about RJ Barrett Think about it. They make a run to these the conference finals.
They are not talking about RJ Next year and Randall if you do something he got to do something He's not gonna say RJ Barrett came into RJ Barrett came in they talked about a what's the guy? I can't tell rich they talked about can't read it's more they talked about RJ Barrett if we really just go back and look at it When that traffic happened was cam RJ Barrett and Zion they talked a lot about Zion Cam for what he wasn't doing or promised to do what Atlanta was doing with him and then we're better talk about it That's true. So that's very true He does he doesn't he'll have games every now and then the best defender But they have a Zion was RJ because RJ was not passing the ball in and all we had it you ain't getting this ball so anyway um I want to come back to the honest in a sec because I might give him one more year before I look at that playoff run as looky, but I gotta think about it. Let me think about it some more before I put that out there So would you say if he was writing his assessment that people used to climb before?
No, what was that? FIFA used to be really hard on Giannis and what FIFA was trying to say was that Giannis doesn't have enough moves Like he has not a developed game and he hasn't proved that he can do it in the cruncy I mean he's a very dominant person But a dominant force out there, but he ain't got no go-to moves I got a homeboy to feel something he think of Giannis overrated. Yeah He'll think that he has a superstar bag Like if it's time to get down to it, he can't just get to it And that's why I was shocked because Nick disagreed with before a lot But Nick was saying the other day we knew that Giannis wasn't the last man It was supposed to be somebody else with the ball. Wait a minute.
Well, how I would expect I Think I think I was a superstar. I don't agree with the sentiment at this end But however, I don't expect him to be close out the game I expected to be middle to be middle to be middle to be middle to be I expect you to be a holiday You know, I just ain't the type of player Well, like I'm giving it to him and letting him walk up the court and I saw or pulling up for three like I'm not expecting any of that For him see but I'm expecting a dominant Of course similar like shack or something that changes my perspective then because I feel like if you are One of the greatest players in the game. You need to be a close out of game Well, I think that the coach won't know I got to put Giannis in position to be as effective as he need to be I just All I'm saying is him walking up the court Zeroing in on a shot. Mm-hmm.
I saw somebody down and ceiling the game having a skill set that ain't I don't see him doing Yeah, speaking of closeouts Let's go JB. Why they keep showing eros is Um, it's gonna be so funny when a 79 next to me. I can't I warriors. It's another reason.
I think probably won't be here The minute the gear y'all but we here now They did it one on the road to row two row wins two row wins The Kings youthfulness showed up in the second half I did not watch that game I was recording But I was chatting because I pulled it up and I saw they pulled the game up the Robbie hunt You can say some row and I was like, oh, they only up to this ain't good And I thought they and they did have enough time to kind of survive the punch from Golden State And I you know they got it close But nevertheless stuff was too much fifty points in that game. Yeah one going away You praise loony a lot in that game as well, but um, but it left a lot of people to wonder and we get you know We'll it's not the greatest point guard of all time. Great shot by Joshua Mm-hmm Greatest one got of all time. No, he's greatest going for I wouldn't say that but I will put him in the top 11 Like I think that grabbed him.
I sent to the text earlier I think when you're telling the story of ask about it if you're including 11 players in that story So of course he has one million percent got to be mentioned just like do this cold man You don't think in the top 10 hit this money. Oh, wow. You get it on rebound. Yeah, Josh.
Oh, of course he missed it Bam had no help down now. I feel bad for them. You can walk this heavy man Hey, is it a day by everybody? Every old New York Nick but Charles okay, I see on kill The Mason a day because he did rest in peace animation as one of my hornet boys, right?
I love mason and I don't know Larry Johnson. He went to see say nice. Oh, yeah, yeah Man, I love me at the time. I was always a fan of bigger guys that could bring about like a point for yeah He was the first point for me to me like fourteen nine eight He was the first one to do like your mom.
He was like a really great one He was a really small and he was he was a monster to I was a monster. That's somebody I would want to see him Street, right? Oh, yeah, I agree stuff or not greatest point guard ever but one million percent It's going point guard have you want to clarify like I wouldn't put stuff in front of magic, but that's why it's up It's far as point guard. I wouldn't put him there wait if we talking about next I'm going stuff So if he wins another championship, would you put him above magic?
No, no, I couldn't do it If he was I was still be five and magic got right if he wins this year It's gotta be up for discussion because this thing right here the struggles that they've had this year if he can pull this out in this That would be impressed that would be super impressive. You put him above magic Johnson if you win this year I would have to say I talk I saw somewhere today where they were saying how how many first team All in the A's of still career They were saying like his resume Didn't stack up I would not say I think he's building a resume to make a run for I think Dream on It's smart by putting that out there into the public discourse to get people talking about it. I think that It could happen Because steps brand is strong people love him. He's amazing when he plays and people love to see that This generation That's we're gonna watch the stuff they didn't see magic, bro Right and they you know, so that's they're gonna go more about what they see and they you know people talk about magic But it's not a lot of magic like magic's overall brand in terms of a player hasn't been maintained as much as Jordan's task and people now The generation that's watching LeBron.
There's an a bronze the greatest right and I was talking to a guy Last week he was like and he said it and what people said it was like there are people saying, you know I didn't watch Jordan place. I don't really know, but I know what I've seen with LeBron Right, you know, so even with the documentary people are starting to put LeBron over MJ And it's all because of just what they grew up and what they've experienced, you know, so you know, and that's where the debates happen So I and that makes sense. Yeah, no, it makes sense Yeah, that makes sense because me being the A's that I am remembering like what we were talking about before the broadcast Jordan in the same arena like Going to daggle through you and hard year after year of doing it the Reggie Miller like we saw it We saw it like that that was unrealistic to us at that point Like I remember specifically looking at this and always being like sure not gonna lose like that That's the only athlete that I've ever felt that way about there like there's no way like I would be literally shocked if you lost his guy, right and That goes a long way, but that was our generation people didn't see that Derek Curry can't do what magic did which is well, he said magic into a care curry does whatsoever Yeah, it's just Put stuff curry is sent His magic didn't even average 20 for his career. That's great.
I have to That affected without having to do it He did not have to do none of it and he used what magic did that made him special was he made everybody around him better No matter who it was from AC green to Kurt Ram is and Steph Curry does that too before they start flooding the chat Steph Curry make everybody around him better about how he spaces the floor magic made everybody better about how he's sold a floor Yes, that's the best that's the best way to put it Yep, good win by the next because it was a little iffy Losses game this was rough for me. He was killing me flopping around like this Man, they kill me with this. They always doing this like get up. Yep.
Um, no, he No, no Who said that who said that and I know I know I'd disagree stuff is great stuff just He just he just couldn't do the things that magic was able to do in that floor general and stuff like that No, it's just it's not it's just it was just different but courage magic can't shoot the ball the way that Curricand and there not a lot of people can like it's just it's insane. So right you can't really name nobody No, you can't there isn't anybody that is this period. There's nobody right now. So I thought I thought I thought it was I thought I thought I thought though if he's the best point guard of all time I think he would definitely get a discussion.
I think it's definitely gonna happen But you know, I think people will say it I don't look at it I'm not using titles as a criteria because if I did I have to discount a couple of these muffin rings You know the katie shit. So you know, we don't want to go there. Let's just talk about everything else But he's amazing. I don't think he's there yet, but um When it's all said done.
Y'all think he could yes, absolutely I think people will say that he is I don't think he would be from it because they're gonna think though Think about how long that Steph Curry will be able to shoot the basketball Mm-hmm. So not even in the road that he plays now, but think about him in the right out of the road like his dad played I'm just gonna sit right here and like he just shoot I was just in the region middle side of the other day They're just like 50 right can see a shoot the ball and he can't you like me in I'm gonna nail some shots So think about if Steph Curry sticks around we see LeBron doing this and having a physical a lot of his game is ditching in the Point that thanks curry my day was around 25 years and just I'm just out here shooting threes, bro Like I'm passing a bride and points because I've been on a three point line for the last 10 years since my goal in the state Years playing as shard and I'm just out here shooting threes. Yeah, and that's what the game has gotten to now So there's a real possibility when at the end of the day stuff my leader leading a scoring Yeah, and this I'm what I'm most impressed about was Steph to be honest is the His involvement the way he's evolved Steph has turned himself into even a different basketball player than he was five years ago You know it used to be him shoot like you said she was three all day long now stuff. It's still constantly moving But he's just running around I don't see how these dudes chase their first off Secondly when you do catch him he gets you from anywhere.
There's no place on the court. That's not a threat Remember stuff you I mean Nick you say step was what he say he was living it. Okay. Get his own shot Yeah, he couldn't get his own shot.
