Is That the Holy Spirit Speaking? | Holy Spirit Promptings | Acts 8:26-40 | w/ Pastor Joshua Sanders

Have you ever experienced a sudden prompting to do something out of the ordinary, but you weren't sure why? Maybe it was a sudden thought to check on a neighbor... or it was a feeling to call an old friend... or to take a different route home... or to lend a helping hand to a stranger. These promptings can feel mysterious and powerful. But could it be that in many of these moments, it is the Holy Spirit guiding us through promptings and leading us to act in ways that fulfill God's purposes? In this sermon, we dive into Acts 8:26-40. In this passage, we see a story that vividly illustrates the importance of responding to the Holy Spirit's promptings. In this story, Philip was divinely led to approach an Ethiopian eunuch. Philip’s immediate response results in a powerful encounter that changes the eunuch's life. And what we learn in this passage, is that as we GET AFTER IT for the expanding of the Kingdom of God, we must be attuned and responsive to the Holy Spirit’s leading in our own walk with God.
