Is the story of Abraham and Isaac really just a story of obedience?

 Today we're studying the Bible Live and we're talking about the lesson of obedience that is always taught about Abraham being willing to sacrifice his son Isaac. Many people ask: "How could God ask Abraham to do that?" and "What type of loving God would ever ask someone to do that?"  Those are exactly the right question to ask, and today, we're going to dig in a little bit and see if perhaps there is another lesson that we're supposed to be learning from this story.
