Is the transition to electric vehicles "Inevitable" ?

There’s a new book from Wall Street Journal automotive reporter Mike Colias titled Inevitable- Inside the Messy, Unstoppable Transition to Electric Vehicles. Colias says American consumers and car makers are behind many in Europe, especially Scandanavia, and well behind the pace in China….but automotive leaders, even here, know the change is underway..“Tesla obviously had been the leader and the pioneer and is still the largest EV seller in the world. But the China part of the story has become much bigger. The speed at which that market has gone from less than 5 percent of new car sales were EVs pre-pandemic, now to almost 50 percent.”It’s astounding.
