Is there a connection between The Superficial Peroneal Nerve and Restless Leg Syndrome?

There are some new devices for Restless Leg Syndrome that use electric stimulation to stimulate the afferent nerves of the low leg.   What's the connection to the Superficial Peroneal Nerve and Restless Leg?
