Is this disease real? Morgellons Disease

Medicinal science is one of those things we generally put on the back burner as a given (Let's just leave out the whole COVID thing for the purposes of this statement). The doctors and scientists in this field generally have a handle on things and at least know when something needs treating and when something does not... right??? Let me introduce you to the world of Morgellons disease, where you could ask the crazy man with all those red suede fedoras who lives down the street (you know the guy!) and he will be able to give you as accurate an answer on Morgellons disease compared to the average doctor. what is it??? what are the symptoms??? is it caused by aliens??? what's that behind you??? take a listen and find out (or just look behind you cause we don't answer that one).We start by looking at purported cases of Morgellons disease as it arises in the early 2000's and how individuals grappled with both its symptoms and its perception in society.
