Welcome, welcome, welcome to yet another brand new episode of the Real Life Podcast! With the Oilers' season sinking like a rock, the boys spent this week trying to figure out how we can turn the narrative around to something a little more positive. Can it be done? The boys certainly tried their best. To start off this week's podcast, the boys couldn't help but sum up the terrible week that happened since the last show. Whether it was tossing jerseys on the ice, merciless booing, or fighting with other people on social media, Oilers fans have been rightfully salty and the boys tried to take a wider look at what's happening and figure out what we can do to help. So when the discussion turns to throwing jerseys on the ice, the boys all had differing opinions on what needed to happen and whether or not a sweater toss is something that should happen at all. From there, the guys look at a trend among some Oilers fans right now of blaming the star players for what's happening right now rather than looking at the team as a whole. Does it make sense to take shots at the three/four/five guys that are actually contributing on a nightly basis? We didn't think so either. Lastly, the guys touch on the Nation trip to Vegas that launched on Monday and why it's important for Oilers fans to feel like they have a community behind them.
