A coalition of concerned residents organized a news conference at Nathan Phillips Square in front of Toronto City Hall earlier this week to express their concerns with how the City is dealing with hot button issues like bike lanes, homeless encampments and more. They also faced a counter-protest. Meanwhile, Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow has described the City's Winter maintenance program as a "systemic failure" based on its performance last winter season.
