Turkey has been scrambling to contain the fallout from comments made by Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan recently, who said that Turkey’s hyped-up KAAN fighter jet couldn’t be produced because of US CAATSA sanctions. He even said Ankara would seek alternative solutions if CAATSA is not lifted.
