Is working from home harmful to your mental health?

A new report from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics found about a third of employed Americans did some or all of their work at home on days they worked in 2025. Arguments have been made that remote work is worse for mental health than working in an office, but how solid is the logic behind that argument?
