Is Your Faith Counterfeit? | Genuine Faith | Acts 8:9-25 | with Pastor Joshua Sanders

How many of you have ever encountered things that are counterfeit? Whether it be NFL jerseys, Oakley sunglasses, Louis Vuitton purses, or even money? Our culture today is overrun with counterfeit products — they look like the real thing, but they’re cheap imitations. And you see, counterfeit may work fine in some areas of our lives, but when it comes to our faith, counterfeit simply doesn’t work. And in this sermon, we dive into Acts 8:9-25. In this passage, we see a striking example of counterfeit vs. genuine. Simon the Magician seemed to have faith, but it was a counterfeit, exposed by his selfish motives. And what we learn in our passage, is that as we GET AFTER IT for the expanding of the Kingdom of God, we must have a genuine faith, rather than a counterfeit faith.
