Isaac Brown Eyes National Player of the Year | Louisville Football News

Isaac Brown is lighting up the college football world, earning a spot on the prestigious Walter Camp 2026 FBS Player of the Year preseason watch list — one of the oldest and most respected honors in the game. Already a Maxwell Award contender and decorated with All-ACC and All-America honors before kickoff, Brown has been a dominant force for Louisville, amassing 2,057 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns in just 22 games, averaging 7.7 yards per carry. With six 100-yard games last season alone, he’s proving he’s not just a breakout star but a national player of the year frontrunner. As the watch list narrows to ten semi-finalists in November and three finalists in December, all eyes are on Brown to see if he can carry his explosive playmaking into another historic season.
