Isaac Brown on Maxwell Watch List | Louisville Football News

Louisville’s football team is heating up heading into the new season, thanks to a massive transfer portal haul and standout talent already on campus—especially their running backs. Junior Isaac Brown, sidelined by injuries last year, is now a national contender after being named to the Maxwell Award watch list, honoring college football’s top player since 1937. Despite limited playing time, Brown averaged nearly nine yards per carry and racked up nearly 900 yards and seven touchdowns. His freshman campaign was even more dominant, shattering program records for rushing yards and tying a mark for games with over 100 yards. With 81 players on the Maxwell watch list—including 11 from the ACC—Brown proves his elite status, poised to lead Louisville to a breakout season.
