Isaiah 17 What Is Our Greatest Problem?

from Bible Cast Hosted by Shwabe

Many bible scholars throughout the years have thought that this is a description of not only a historical portion of the book but it also had a more broad application of an end-times event. It’s going to talk about Damascus becoming a ruinous heap, a city and a geographical location the Bible talks about it one day being obliterated. Damascus has been attacked many times in history but never has it been completely destroyed. It will not only be destroyed but it will be uninhabitable for a great amount of time. One of the oldest cities of the world, Former Syria used to boast that it was the oldest city. Are we seeing the stage being set in our day that Damascus is going to be wiped out?
