Isaiah 34-35 | The Sword of Judgment & The Highway of Holiness | Scripture Narration

from Scripture Narration · host Mattithyahu Sha'ul

For Isaiah (Yeshayahu) 34–35, the tone is one of the most dramatic contrasts in all of Scripture. Chapter 34 is a "Cosmic Judgment," a dark and terrifying vision of the world being "rolled up like a scroll" and the land soaked in the blood of the rebellious. But Chapter 35 is its mirror image: the "Way of Set-apartness," where the desert blooms like a rose and the ransomed of YAHUAH return with everlasting joy."‘The desert and the parched land shall be glad for them... and the ransomed of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 shall return.’" Experience the shocking transition from the total destruction of the nations to the blooming glory of the Kingdom in Yeshayahu 34 and 35.About This Reading In this episode, we witness the end of the "Old World" and the dawn of the "New" in Isaiah (Yeshayahu) 34 & 35. This narration utilizes The Scriptures 2009 (ISR) translation. In this reading, we honor the set-apart Names of our Creator and His Messiah, speaking 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHUAH) and YAHUSHA as the Spirit gives utterance. These two chapters are designed to be read together as a complete picture of Divine Justice:Chapter 34: The Controversy of Tsiyon. The Father calls the nations to "Come near and hear." He describes the judgment of Edom and the nations, where the heavens are dissolved and the land is turned into a haunt for desert creatures. This is the "year of recompense."Chapter 35: The Transformation. Immediately, the scene shifts. The same desert that was a place of judgment begins to "blossom abundantly." The weak hands are strengthened, the blind see, the deaf hear, and the "Way of Set-apartness" (Derek HaQodesh) is opened for the redeemed to walk upon.We aim to decrease so that the weight of His judgment and the beauty of His restoration may be the focus of your meditation.Key Highlights:Focus: The Sword of YAHUAH, The Healing of the Lame, and the Highway of Holiness.Translation: The Scriptures 2009 (ISR).Narration: Pure Scripture, no commentary. How to Use This Episode: Listen to these chapters when the world feels chaotic. Chapter 34 reminds us that YAHUAHwill eventually settle the "controversy" of the earth, while Chapter 35 provides the ultimate "hope-infusion." Use it to strengthen your knees and encourage your heart—knowing that the "ransomed" are coming home with singing.Scripture Metadata: YAHUAH, YAHUSHA Messiah, YAHUDAH, YAH, Yeshayahu, Restored Names, The Scriptures 2009, Audio Bible, Scripture Narration, Pure Word, No Commentary, Ten Words, Torah, Sleep Bible, Bible Meditation, Hebrew Roots, Yahshar'el, Set-Apart Names, Bible Reading, Daily Devotion.
