Isaiah 58:13-14 Call the Sabbath a Delight (February 4, 2024 AM, Rev. Michael Grasso)

Having discussed true fasting, Isaiah moves on to describe faithful Sabbath keeping. God has set apart one day in seven for the worship of His name. This is not a day for the pursuit of our own pleasure but a day consecrated to God. From the beginning of the world until the coming of Christ, this day was Saturday, but from his resurrection all the way to his return, the day is Sunday, the Lord's Day, the day when the new creation was established.
