Isaiah 6 verses 1-8 The Power of the Trinity

Trinity Sunday is the one day of the church year when we do something a little different. Instead of talking about Jesus and his miracles, we talk about a concept that isn’t easy to understand let alone preach about. We talk about the Trinity-Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The reading from Isaiah 6:1-8 was chosen for Trinity Sunday because of the curious question it asks: “Who will go for us?” Why was this phrase used? It is because it is a foreshadowing of the Trinity. This passage is the most famous call of a prophet in the Bible.
