Isaiah 8:11-9:7 "Dawn is Coming"

A tension exists between your theology and the emotional anxiety of the present danger. The prophet is telling you to trust YHWH and fear Him alone, while your feelings are impacted by the local media relaying a more imminent threat. Will our God come through? When? How? Can we really trust God to show up and deliver? Will God come through before it’s too late? Is there hope of rescue? The Day dawns when the King comes.
