Isaiah 9 A Child, Our Savior

from Bible Cast Hosted by Shwabe

We don’t need to study every verse to get what this passage is trying to tell us. There are a cluster of verses that we’ve all heard (Christmas cards) I’m going to try and provoke you to get as close to Jesus as you possibly can be. It is all important to God that you know who His son Jesus is. Read the Bible from cover to cover and you will come out with one figure. His name is given in the old and new testament. Mission and ministry. The book of Isaiah is the most quoted of the four gospels. This is why we call Isaiah the “evangelical prophet” Mat 3:3 - For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying: Luke 4:16-21 it was Jesus custom to go to synagogue, but if you were a rabbi you would teach on a specific day. It was not an accident or self-fulfillment. When He closed that book it sents goosebumps. Is this the Jesus that we know? The Jesus of the OT prophets?
