Isaiah Chapters 20-23

In this episode, we read Isaiah chapters 20–23, where the prophet continues delivering messages of warning and revelation to the nations. Through symbolic action and prophetic words, Isaiah reveals the futility of trusting in political power, military strength, or human alliances instead of the Lord. These chapters focus on God’s judgment against nations such as Egypt, Cush, Babylon, Edom, and Tyre—centers of wealth, influence, and pride. Isaiah exposes how quickly human power can crumble and reminds us that no nation or ruler stands outside God’s authority. Yet beneath the warnings is a clear message: God alone is the true source of security and hope. These chapters challenge us to examine where we place our trust and call us back to reliance on the Lord, who governs history and holds every nation accountable.
