Isaiah Santos Commits to Minnesota | Minnesota Golden Gophers Basketball News

Isaiah Santos, the top-rated 2027 wing prospect nationally, has committed to Minnesota — the first player to pledge to Coach Niko Medved’s Gophers for that class. Standing at 6’5”, Santos averaged 14 points and nearly 8 rebounds for AB Elite on the EYBL and 14 points and 9 rebounds for Brazil at the FIBA U18 Americas tournament. After official visits to Butler and Colorado, he chose Minnesota over strong competition from Vanderbilt, Texas Tech, Houston, and Illinois — signaling a major recruiting win for the Gophers and a strong start to their 2027 class.
