Isaiah Watts Joins UTSA Roadrunners

Isaiah Watts, a seasoned guard with NCAA Tournament experience, joins the UTSA Roadrunners for the 2026-27 season, bringing elite pedigree and versatility to a roster already shaping up for big things. Coming off a solid junior year at Maryland and a standout sophomore season at Washington State, Watts is a key addition for coach Austin Claunch, whose team needs floor leadership and defensive grit. With NBA-caliber bloodlines — his grandfather played for the SuperSonics and his dad led the Pac-10 in threes — Watts isn’t just another recruit; he’s a player with pedigree, poise, and potential to elevate UTSA’s offense and defense.
