Isbel Hits Buzz Lightyear Home Run | Kansas City Royals News

Kyle Isbel of the Kansas City Royals crushed a solo homer Friday night—yes, with a custom Buzz Lightyear bat—sending it 387 feet into right field. It was his fifth home run of the season and part of a strong recent stretch after recovering from plantar fasciitis. Beyond the blast, he made a key defensive play in center field, proving his value beyond the stat sheet. The moment also highlighted Players’ Weekend’s charm: letting athletes like Isbel bring their personalities—and even their kids’ Toy Story fandom—into the game, deepening the connection with fans.
