Island of the Blue Dolphins

Happy Thanksgiving to all! This month we are reading "The Island of the Blue Dolphins" by Scott O'Dell, a fascinating story based on a real Native American woman who lived alone on an island in the mid 1800's. This book is also perfect for Native American Heritage month, exploring both island and indigenous life.
