ISLB 2021: Current standards and future directions for liquid biopsy

Liquid biopsy is an exciting field, with many promising advances in recent years. In this podcast, we cover a range of possible uses of liquid biopsy throughout all stages of patient care, from early diagnosis and screening to post-treatment monitoring. We also discuss some of the key challenges that need to be overcome, and think about the future of liquid biopsy research.   We are joined by four speakers from the International Society of Liquid Biopsy (ISLB) Virtual Meeting 2021, Professor David Gandara, from UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center in Sacramento, California, Professor Natasha Leighl, from the Princess Margaret Cancer Center in Toronto, Canada, Professor Heinz Josef Lenz, from the University of Southern California, in Los Angeles, California, and Professor Catherine Alix-Panabieres from the University Medical Center of Montpellier in France.
