Whenever you walk around the streets of New York City, the sounds of Sirens contribute to the cities charm, but it’s actually not that charming. Some get annoyed, some get scared, some keep walking, and some turn to see what is happening. For me, when I hear a siren, my mind becomes filled with nostalgic memories of Summer of 2014. In this piece you will hear how the sound of a siren reminds me of Summer 2014, when I traveled to Israel during war time and how it completely changed my life, for the better.
