David Hirsh er en britisk folkemordekspert, sosiolog og professor ved Goldsmiths, University of London. Han er kjent for sitt arbeid innen sosiologi, særlig relatert til folkemord og antisemittisme. Hirsh tok sin doktorgrad ved University of Warwick med en avhandling med tittelen Crimes Against Humanity and International Law ("Forbrytelser mot menneskeheten og internasjonal rett").Han har skrevet flere bøker og artikler om temaer som folkemord, menneskerettigheter og antisemittisme.
