Israel Cooper on Constructing You - Choosing Excellence, Constructing Legacy, Creating Communities

Israel is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of the Home Development Group, and together with his wife Jessica lead a national and international construction and development organisation with a mission to build flourishing communities and eradicate global homelessness.

After completing a dual honours degree at the University of Queensland in Economics and Commerce, Israel started out his career as a finance and economics adviser for PwC. After his early years in financial services, Israel spent the next decade in various technology and software companies. This included Co-Founder of Trigger Happy which created worlds first HTML5 render engine and tablet animation tool. Then CFO of Rex Bionics, which revolutionized the medical devices industry through the development of the worlds first commercially viable robotic walker, and transformed the lives of those bound to a wheelchair. As well as Director of Finance for Massive Software, whose Academy Award-winning technology is used for epic crowd scenes in feature films such as Avatar and Lord of the Rings.

Israel lives in Christchurch, NZ with his wife Jessica, and three children.
