Israel on My Heart—Mission Weeks 2023—Josiah Kagin

If you have read the Bible or listened to the news recently, you have know about the nation of Israel. Israel has been a major focus of geo-political conversations since its inception. As we focus on the need of the world around us during Mission Weeks, it is important that we give special consideration to the Jewish people—God’s chosen people. Since the first century, the Jews have be dispersed throughout the world. However, in 1948 Israel was reborn as a nation and many Jews have felt prompted to return to their homeland. This is the same land that God promised to Abraham in Genesis and restated to Moses in Exodus. Today, we will seek to broaden our understanding of God’s heart toward Israel as seen in Scripture so that we might have Israel on our hearts as well.
