Israel: The Rights Of The Jewish People To Live Securely

I will address the question of the recent large, angry protests against Israel throughout America, in our cities and Universities, and consider from a Constitutional standpoint, if they are appropriately tolerated. Many question whether anything can be done to tame these chaotic disruptions. Let us consider a few things from a purely legal and rational standpoint, aside from our Biblical consideration for Israel, as we discussed last week.   These angry anti-Israel, anti-Jewish, Pro-Hamas protests & acts are not constitutionally protected:   In this episode, we will review our Declaration of Independence as the lens through which we interpret the intent of the Constitution. We also will look at the Preamble to help us understand how to INTERPRET the principles enshrined in the Constitution, such as the first and 14th amendments.   Additionally, we will discuss the right of the Jewish people to live securely in their homeland, Israel. Last episode, we went over the HISTORICAL record that reveals that the land of Israel today is the ancestral land of the very same people God brought out from the land of Egypt to plant in their own National homeland.   Now if we're tempted to agree with Muslims that ONCE THEY CONQUER A LAND, it belongs to them forever, then we'd have to also agree many other nations and lands should be returned to the Muslim Arabs, including several European nations once engulfed by the Ottoman Empire.   And just as these countries are the national homeland for these ethic groups, Israel at 22,000 square miles, is the ONLY National homeland for the JEWISH ethnic group. It is NOT the national homeland for Arabs, who have many other countries amounting to millions of square miles.   Yet God promises that those who curse Israel will be cursed. God warns that He will judge the nations in the latter days by how they treat Israel:         Isaiah 51:17 Awake, awake! Stand up, O Jerusalem, You who have drunk at the hand of the LORD The cup of His fury; You have drunk the DREGS OF THE CUP OF TREMBLING, [And] drained [it] out. ...  22 Thus says your Lord, The LORD and your God, [Who] PLEADS THE CAUSE OF HIS PEOPLE: "See, I have taken out of your hand The cup of trembling, The dregs of the cup of My fury; YOU SHALL NO LONGER DRINK IT. 23 BUT I WILL PUT IT INTO THE HAND OF THOSE WHO AFFLICT YOU, Who have SAID TO YOU, 'LIE DOWN, THAT WE MAY WALK OVER YOU.' AND YOU HAVE LAID YOUR BODY LIKE THE GROUND, AND AS THE STREET, FOR THOSE WHO WALK OVER."   And so as CHRISTIANS we know the BIBLE reveals that God still has a plan for His people, Israel, to bring them back into the land, which He gave to them, in the latter days. God has NOT DISCARDED ISRAEL. He is a JUST GOD with an ETERNAL PLAN.   We pray that in their distress, as all the nations "gather together" against Israel, they will draw near to their God will all their heart. We pray that the Father reveals YESHUA, their Messiah to many as the last days quickly fall upon us.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
