Israel's ground offensive in Gaza City

Israel has launched a ground offensive into Gaza City, displacing hundreds of thousands of Palestinians. The country’s leadership says the city is the last stronghold of Hamas, while international governments and the UN have condemned the attacks. The offensive began shortly after a UN commission of inquiry announced it had found Israel was carrying out a genocide of Palestinians in Gaza.
