Dan dos Santos is an acclaimed and award-winning illustrator, and in June 2023 was officially announced as the artist for the new Marvel Masterpieces set. Joining Ian and guest host Donny Caltrider, Dan talks about his earliest influences, his love for comics and his aspiration to land this ‘gig’. Dan walks us through the pieces released so far, and also answers questions from other Marvel Masterpieces artists in our first ever ‘Master to Master’ segment. We hear how long it took to create each piece (and the set entire) and of the physical toll it takes to achieve this task.
