It Follows (2014) Film Review

It Follows is a 2014 horror film starring Maika Monroe, and directed by David Robert Mitchell. Maika Monroe plays a girl named Jay who is infected with a disease by a man named Hugh, the disease involves a zombie-like creature stalking her at every turn, and potentially killing her if it ever reaches her. Based in Michigan, the A24 Rocks crew digs deep into their Michigan knowledge to share fun trivia about the film, and to debate if this film kicked off the atmospheric/elevated horror trend of the last 10 years.
