It Is About Commitment ~ Commitment To Vision, Purpose, and Self! | Dr. Rick Wallace One of the greatest hindrances to fulfillment and success in life is the absence of commitment. At some point, everyone has a vision or dream of a better life in some form or another. What separates those who actualize those dreams is the level of commitment invested in following through. Unfortunately, most people never get past the daydreaming stage. They fill their thoughts with what is possible, but they lack follow-through. Their daydreams are often followed by lethargy, complaints, excuses, or the search for a shortcut. There is no escaping the process; the process always precedes the prize (promise). You must become committed to your vision, your purpose, and most importantly yourself. Your commitment must drive you to go the distance no matter what it takes. Set your goals to observe the starting point, intermediate points, and ultimate destination. Seeing the vision is the beginning, but following through is what drives you to the finish line.
