It is alzheimer's disease. What do we do now?

from Encouraging women to live well · host Zenobia DeVeaux Bailey

Today's guest is Kristine Broome, caregiver services coordinator with The Family Caregiver Support Program in Seattle.   In her own words, "I have been in my  current position assisting family caregivers for about a dozen years, so I am very familiar with the issues, concerns and challenges faced by family caregivers. Our program hopes to provide a range of information about available resources and referrals for family caregivers so they can feel supported in this demanding and stressful role. Caregivers need guidance and support as they cope with the needs of their care receiver while often experiencing stress and uncertainty as to what lies ahead. We liken it to a journey they don't have to navigate on their own. The Family Caregiver Support Program is there to be with them on this unique journey."
