It Is Finished. He Is Risen. We Are Redeemed

With hearts turned to Isaiah 53, we behold the Lamb of God, “wounded for our transgressions… bruised for our iniquities” (Isaiah 53:5, KJV). We trace the agony of the cross, the betrayal, the beatings, and the silence of a Savior who endured it all — not because He had to, but because He loved us.   From Luke 22:44, where Jesus sweat great drops of blood in Gethsemane, to John 19:30, where He cried, “It is finished,” we see that Christ didn’t make a down payment on salvation — He paid it in full.   We explore the depth of Christ’s love and the completeness of His work:   “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree…” (1 Peter 2:24, KJV). “He hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin…” (2 Corinthians 5:21, KJV).   And yet, the cross is not the end.
