It is Finished | Three Words

Three words… “It is finished”. In Greek it means, "to bring to an end, to complete, to accomplish”. Good Friday, Jesus' death through crucifixion, reminds us that when Jesus declared “It is finished” it was for all mankind, for all time, and he meant it. It is finished, and now, we simply get to choose to accept the invitation or not. YOU ARE INVITED!WHAT: Allowing God to shape you… through the life & example of Jesus.WHEN: Anytime you’re ready…right now, every day, every moment of every day.HOW: God…just start talking.WHY: A full life… less worry, more patience, more trust.The question isn’t “Are you invited?” The question is…”What will you do with your invitation”?SCRIPTURE:Knowing that everything had now been finished, Jesus said, “I am thirsty.” A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of a plant, and lifted it to Jesus’ lips. When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
