It seems like it’s over for Trump, it seems like the G.O.P. has quit.

And it starts with a conversation that I had early this morning with a guy that I know and he's like, Charlie, think it's over for Trump. They say he's been going on for a month now. It's over for Trump. That's a well, yep, that's it, that's it. And I'm telling you what, that attitude was kind of infectious on me because I started thinking about it and I started. 01:06 You know, and we talk about this all the time. just like, it's like the easiest way to get the easiest way to win a fight is for your opponent to give up. That's the easiest way. If your opponent just quits fighting, I always remember Kirby Smart in the University of Georgia locker room telling his players at halftime, we haven't made them quit yet. We've got to make them quit. 01:37 And it just seems to me like the GOP has quit. They're still calling the plays. They're still running the plays. 01:50 but they're not actually fighting. Gotta go back to uh a story that I told you just a couple of days ago, I believe it was on Monday, and it had to do with the primaries here in South Carolina and some of the big questions that people are asking in this primary. Number one, are you conservative enough? Number two, did you fight hard enough? 02:19 Number three, did you go along to get along? 02:25 Now right now, that second question, did you fight hard enough? I gotta look at these folks and I guess I gotta say the answer is no. The answer is no. Now why do I say that? Over the past year, 02:42 Democrats have flipped a total of 12 state legislative seats in special elections. 02:51 Texas, Senate District 9, Iowa, Senate District 35, Iowa, Senate District 1, Arkansas, House District 70, Mississippi, Senate District 45, Mississippi, Senate District 02, Pennsylvania, Senate District 35, Florida, House District 87, Georgia, House District 121, New Hampshire, let's see, House Seat 7, Florida, Senate District 14, Mississippi, 03:19 House District 22. Another one got flipped last night. Another one got flipped last night. A special election. Now these people are out there, they're all, oh, these don't mean anything. We'll really show them in, you know, coming in November, will ya? Will they be shown? So right now I'm just looking at the GOP is not the grand old party. I think it's the G-U-P, the give up party. 03:48 We're not seeing them fight. We need to fight. I'm not seeing the fight out of, I mean, the members of the House, they're doing a good job. I'm not seeing the fight out of Henry McMaster. I'm not seeing the fight out of a lot of these Republicans, so-called Republicans in Columbia.
