It happened around 7:15 pm, when the man reportedly fell from the upper concourse before hitting a person and landing in the lower bowl. the man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The person who was struck was checked out by medics and declined further treatment. No word on the name of the man who fell. The Penguins released a statement saying they're closely monitoring the situation and their concerns remain with the individual and his family. Just Saturday night, a worker fell at Acrisure Stadium from its scoreboard and last spring, Kavan Markwood fell 21 feet from his seat at PNC Park. Pittsburgh Police say their Major Crimes detectives are investigating the circumstances of the fall.
