Last year's success on the athletic field served as a continuation of the standard which is FAMU Football and this year's success by the Volleyball team was much of the same. What will become the new standard in this current landscape of athletics rests solely upon who the new standard bearers will be which means recruiting is vital to the success of these programs. While we wait on Volleyball to bring in a new crop of student athletes, football continues its mad dash to acquire the next group of successful FAMU athletes.
